Its true alot of women "paint their relationships with their husbands/boyfriends as disneyland"--which means they make it sound great. but only on the outside. then their friends get jealous and insecure. Also it may have to do with daddy issues. If your dad was emotionally unavailable, out of the picture, neglectful, or abusive in any way women will pattern what they have learned since childhood and attract that into their lives as adults. Only way to break the cycle is to seek counseling.
