  • McCain has no credibility here as he is one of the highest paid muppets from the Private Health Care companies.

  • Yeah, all they say this "This would lead to a government takeover." and the other shit.

This isn't like the auto bailout or the banks. We deserve an option that's not having 70% of what we pay going into someone's pocket.

  • "Drop the public option Obama because if you don't i will no longer get my million dollar pay cheque from AHIP!"

  • Lucky Obama won, right?

  • On a good year, Congress will consistently overstep their Constitutional bounds. The war in Iraq, 100% un Constitutional. Congress has sole authority to declare war, they cant give their power away. Patriot Act? Real ID? Anything from FDRs New Deal? Nixon? Bush? Clinton? Wilson? Reagan? And all the Congressional sessions and Supreme Court Justices in between have overstepped their authority.

This is why some 33 states have passed resolutions declaring their sovereignty under the 10th amendment.

  • Yeah he could possibly somewhere in his agenda have a valid point, but chances are he annd his buddies aren't out for the love of mankind. To care for his fellow man is in all likelihood not his or his ilks goal. These are the odds.

  • While I have no such love for Republicans, an Ad Hominem attack is the sign of a failed argument, or the sign of ignorance on the issue.

  • Should be is a WHOLE other story that is not relevant. Read the Constitution. Not only does it NOT guarantee it, but by the fact that the Constitution has no provision giving Congress the power to pass such law (Hint: General welfare clause in the preamble isn't an actual enumeration of power) means that the only entity with the authority to do so is the State.

The tenth Amendment gives the STATE the authority to pass "Universal and comprehensive health care," NOT the Federal government.

  • i usually try to use reasoned, well though out logic to make a point, but my hats off to you. You summed it up perfectly.
