Pre-game ceremony honoring Blackhawks legends Bobby Hull and Stan Mikita prior to their home game on March 7, 2008. The Hall of Famers were welcomed back by current ownership as official team ambassadors after being estranged from the team's prior regime for decades. Among the former Hawks players brought back to honor their teammates...Reggie Kerr, Cliff Koroll, Grant Mulvey, Dale Tallon, Doug Wilson and the late Keith Magnuson's son Kevin.

let's be very honest in calling the old chicago stadium a dump. i mean, a dump is a dump. no escalators, obstructed views with posts galore, insufferable concourses where u could die of smoke inhilation and a scoreboard fr the al capone era. yeah what a great place for an event 16,666 breathing their last . i would have gladly operated the wrecking ball for this shithole and demoished it. the united center is a great place to watch any event. case closed as archie bunker woulde say.

Was there that night and what a great night it was. Hope Rocky considers Retiring 27 for JR and 24 for Douglas Wilson, they both deserve it.

Played against Mikita in Jr A he was a great player and one of worst foul mouths in the league. lol

Dad grew up in one of the greatest time periods in hawk hockey... if not the best time in hockey its self! Heard many of stories, and I'm blessed to have seen a game at the old Chicago Stadium before the Untied Center... talk about a piece of history! place would roar and the rafters would shake!!!
