Plainfield North Girls Soccer defeats Oak Forest 9-0

The Plainfield North Girls soccer team earned a trip to the title game of the Plainfield North Invitational with a 9-0 victory over Oak Forest on May 2, 2009. Katie Cox had a hat trick to give her 12 goals for the season, which is a new single season best for a PNHS player. However, Stephanie Barr has 10 for the season as does Callie O'Donnell, who had two goals in this game. Someone will hold the single season record when this season finishes. The questions are whom will it be and what will be the total number of goals. Kayleigh Blaney is closing in on breaking her single season record for assists, she now has 20 for the season after posting four in this game.
