The last new organ to be built by the firm of William Hill & Son in 1915, under the supervision of Dr Arthur George Hill. As the organ approaches it's centenary, it remains unaltered with original tubular-pneumatic action - but heavily patched - and in desperate need of comprehensive restoration. Some photos at www.allhallowsorgan.org.uk - full website to appear shortly. • WOW! I was in this church while I visited my grand mum in 1969. My late Father played this very organ in 1936-1939 time frame. Heard many story of it. I have now finally seen & heard this organ thanks to this posting. Thank you.

  • Thanks for your comment. What was your father's name - I'd like to compile a list of organists. My son (6) will be very impressed with your lego favourites!

  • Interesting trill in the subject beginning! I also felt one there.

But if you do it, continue ithroughouthis magnificent work., including the pedal.

    Why is sound so muffled?

    Aim camcorder better.

Do the trill at 7:19 well. Not abbreviated.

Then slight retard needed before continuing.

    Th.is best played fromemory.

    Nice performance!

  • @karenjenn : He was organist then ?
