Class A EVP (spirit voice) -- I wish we could do that

Having had some background in RF engineering, I will say not everything mysterious is otherworldly. It could be someone keying a two-way radio (police, taxi, FRS walkie talkies, janitors, etc. etc.) A radio with a poorly constructed front end will demodulate these nearby two-way signals, no matter if it's scanning or tuned to an unused frequency. Being downtown, you're likely to be in the 'near field' of a passing two-way radio in use.

@MyYTFaves Perhaps, although I have never run across that happening with an audio recorder that I am aware of, and this wasn't the only EVP from that night, we got over a hundred, many of which commented on what we were doing or answered direct questions with answers, so those certainly couldn't be a stray radio wave that was somehow picked up.

@paranormal2777 I used a free program to capture the video and audio from the computer while playing the EVP through Audition. It was years ago I did that, though, so unfortunately I don't remember the name of the program any more.

I hear, "I will sleep if you ask". Almost like she's asking to rest. Crazy. It's amazing how some people hear different words when listening to EVP's.

Next time you record a good one, ask a few people what is being said. Don't let them hear each others answers, before telling them what you think you hear. Then see how many different answers you get. Some may not hear anything because they don't know how to listen.
