With Christmas just a day away, it seems ironic that this theme from Super Mario 64 is my first Mario Paint video. "Ultimate Koopa" was the name of the music for the final Bowser battle of Super Mario 64 (Bowser is known as Koopa in Japan) and no other music from the game would be more fitting.

Mario Kart: Double Dash!! for the Gamecube featured a partial remix of this theme on the "Bowser Castle" and "Luigi's Mansion" tracks. When I first heard the MK:DD theme, I didn't notice the similarities, but after about a month I began to realize that it was one of several remixes featured in the Mario Kart series.

For this video, I used the "Organ" soundfont, which can be found at:

http://mariopaintcomposer.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=soundfonts&action...

Due to every note being an organ, with no percussion, the soundfont is basically limited to only this music. I do not plan on using this soundfont again, as most of my uploads will use the Real 2.0 font featured in my Pokémon Theme remix.

  • Either that's damn awesomeness and a great soundfont, or it's fake.
