I understand what hes saying.
though, I know you have probably heared this before. but, about 300mhz is very slow. (0.3 Ghz) I'm not to shure how much ram you had but it dident seem like a lot.
even for BASIC tasks a proccessor of about 1Ghz is need (instead of 0.3) and 2GB of ram is recommended, but I would say 1.5Gb of ram would do depending on your OS.
a laptop for about £350 (about $600) would get you about 3Gb ram and 2.0 Ghz processor - thats cheap and is, over 5x your computer in speed
