How to build my 'Honeycomb Pyramid' or 'Honeycomb Mountain' shape from neomagnet balls. A simple repeating pattern from a single subunit that can be built as small or large as you 'have the balls' to build with. It does looks better big though :)
It uses 42 balls per tri-rhombus subunit, and each layer needs a factor of 3 more units to build the shape, so in the 5 layer pyramid demonstrated in this video you need (1+3+6+9+12) = 31 units x 42 = 1302 balls.
My original 9 layer version can be built with (1+3+6+9+12+15+18+21+24) = 109 units x 42 = 4578 balls, even more units are needed if you start to fill in the created honeycomb channels for a very hefty build.

@TimWillow23 Thank you, some of the math is in my details under the vid ^^, the 5 layer mountain or pyramid demoed in this video uses 1302 balls, which is 6 sets of 216 plus 6 of the spares (if you buy the sets with 4 spares included per set)

@COCOAUB Cool, thanks, I look forward to seeing what you can do with this with all your 'Dots. I wanted to fill in the hex channels more underneath on my large one but ran out of balls, it makes a very strong very heavy build.
