My Bank Failed! 17,000 Teachers To Be Fired In Illinois!

My bank failed last Friday, Bank of Illinois.
Illinois is in BIG trouble. Budget for next year calls for 17,000 teachers to get the ax! What the hell are we doing?? Books I recommend strongly reading.

No, the bank or the FDIC then takes over all the loans and assets of the bank. If another bank buys out the failed bank or is assigned it's assets the FDIC then owns the failed banks building and leases it back to the new bank, usually at a loss to the FDIC. Hope this helps.

@danratsnapnames Wow! Where do cops START at 150k/year? In most of this country 70k is very good pay. The average person in the private sector is only making about 40k.

@scruffymeigs please, 70k per year is not making much.. you can hardly pay rent on that.. i made 110k last year as a systems admin, and have made that for the last 10 years. the bottom line is, COPS make $150k per year to START. by far much more than any grade school teacher. just wait, the city will be comming after you for money as they starve to death.

@danratsnapnames Teachers make more than you think. In most states in the northeast, teachers do very well. Benefits are great, 3months off a year, and most make between 50k to 70k per year. My wifes friend, who lives in NY state makes 6 figures as a public school music teacher!

I do agree that people should be learning some survival skills. Knowing how to grow food is going to get you way further than PowerPoint, nowadays.

I love how govt's are starting to make major cuts in staff, yet, we still import over 2 million immigrants a year that will soon compete with the unemployed. If you want to save America, stop ALL immigration, lower our population size and forget about GROWTH. Growth = greed and the only ones who benefit are govts and corporations.  We need to focus on sustainability instead.
