The first thing you need to figure out is a favorite anime or cartoon or something, as soon as you have it in mind be sure you know the anime/cartoon inside and out cause it will help you out a LOT when you are making the video. if you do then you place a song you believe fits well. Like for this one i'm a personal fan of UsagiXSeiya and while i was watching Lion King one night the idea popped in my head. you're idea's will just come to you once you find all that out!

@MarsMoonFighters Also timing is KEY to making a fantastic video. I tired to make them speak while the video was going on but as you can tell that was easier said then done, makee sure you time everything perfectly. And what I like about MY video's personaly is that they all fallow a story. Like this one i played off Seiya's Emotions in the beginning of the Star series. If you know the charateres personalities then it will make it so much easier for you to be able to fit the song with the video!
