Inside the war zone of Burma, under protection of the Shan State rebel army, Host, Antonio Graceffo is one of the first foreigners ever to experience Lai Tai or Shan Kung Fu. The Shan are one of Burmas many ethnic minorities being subjected to genocide at the hands of heir own government. Now, he lives on the Shan State Army base, teaching Lai Tai Kung Fu to the war orphans in the hopes of preserving the Shan culture. One of the Shan army lieutenants ominously told Antonio, If the world doesnt come to help us soon, your video will be the last record of our people. Join Antonio on facebook

Quite a fascinating video and a great story about what you`re doing ! I noticed something curious about their Staff fighting style . I`ve seen it ,or something almost identical in India . There they call it " Lati Kela " - (pronounced Late` -meaning Staff ). Interesting , though . Thanks for posting !
Well done Antonio Graceffo for trying to help these good people and bring attention to the Shans plight in Burma. I love the Shan people and hope everything goes well for them and that they prosper.
Their "Yan" tattoos have the same concept as Cambodia's Yantra tattoos that protect our warriors.
I love what you're doing, documenting the struggles of Shan State and the ongoing conflict in Burma because not a lot of us Americans know what is happening in Burma.
