Charlie Ward was a bad dude in the early 90's at FSU. ut wasn't that number 94 sitting on the bench for Miami was the Rock, Dwayne Johnson?

@alexwilsonNC weiss would have been a great mentor 4tebow in helping him prepare 4 the nfl. he would have came into the league more polished as a passer and probably be a starter right now. but instead he is a 3rdstring qb behind brady quinn who was under the mentorship of weiss talk about irony. here's a bit more of irony 4 u i'm a big time broncos fan and if there is any1 who wants see tebow 2suceed its a bronco fan. so i can be completly unbiased about whose the better qb.right now its orton

@alexwilsonNC 4some reason people tend 2not see that 1 facet of the game when making this comparison whose the better passer. in this case its ward clearly far and beyond frazier & tebow. ur arguing that ward wouldn't have made in the nfl because of his size and i'm debating that he would have made it because of his talent. if u are willing 2put on pads and play football then u know the risk ur taking. urban meyer didn't help tebow 2 prepare 4the next level and weiss arrival @florida was 2late.

@alexwilsonNC i agree alex, frazier would have made it & eric crouch was a phenom for running the option @ nebraska. but frazier,crouch, and tebow did not run a pro style system in college which would have made them nfl ready if not prepared 4what they would have 2run on sundays. ward ran a pro style offense and he was a drop back pocket passer who was a dual threat 2run. ward's size isn't the factor 2determine if he would play or not his heart is. look @ flutie,brees,& vick. they suceeded.

@elcanpion I don't actually think Tebow would've been a better baller, but it is just as reasonable to say that as to say Ward would've made it in the NFL. Ward was nasty in college, but so was Eric Crouch...

Frazier would've made it in the NFL had he not been injured. Dude was a freak athlete, watch his highlights. Someone would've found a position for him.

@alexwilsonNC maybe i worded it 2 where u couldn't understand i was stating that neither tebow or frazier were better than ward since u stated that frazier was better than ward and wasn't good enough for the nfl. if ward would have chosen to enter the draft for the nfl instead of the nba he would have been in the league. and basketball isnt all about vertical leap either.i'll take a guy who can pass to set his teammates up and shoot the lights out from outside over a guy who is dunking all day

@elcanpion I didn't say Frazier was better than Tebow. I said he was better than Ward. Ward would've been hit a few times and been put out if he ever made it off the practice squad. Ward was good, but you people act like he was better than everyone. Matter of fact, Tebow could've been a better basketball player too if he played basketball. Tebow has a higher vertical leap than 90% of all players in the NBA now. Don't believe me, look at the combine numbers for both sports.
