  • very interesting.

    i like it.

can CHUCK D be president of the EAST?

  • Well, that's up to the States in the EAST.

    :-)

  • Good attempt at creating the great divide between the nation states and the nation as a whole.

  • Thank you.

I do believe this is what the founding fathers had in mind anyway.

The Federal Govt. exists only because we needed it when the country was born.

It is obsolete, in my opinion, because with technology today, people are much closer together than they were back then.

  • I don't understand why we have digressed with the advent of great technology. For example, air travel - what purpose does it serve? For the cost of a round trip across the country, you could instad buy a computer and have a teleconference with business associates or prospects, and not just once but multiple times. I can't understand the wastefulness of this travel shit. I'm fine staying at home and visiting anywhere in the world on my internet. In fact, I prefer it that way.

  • I agree completely.

Life is too short NOT to be at home as much as possible. Traveling is overrated.

  • Why the 3 Divisions if we are going back to 50 individual sovereign state rights?

Washington DC is already a sovereign country if you think about it.

  • Not a bad idea at all. The problem, of course, is that without the overarching union there would probably still be Jim Crow laws in the south. I've imagined breaking it up into 4 pieces West, South, Midwest, and East and reverting the unifying along the lines of a federation. As the country heads to 400 million people the representative part of our government is getting a little thin.

  • I've advocated the country of New England for a long time. I'd happily include NY, but that's about as far as I'm willing to go.

No southern states. No Bible pounders.

  • You're preaching to the choir, I'm fully aware of prison overcrowding and net widening and three strikes laws and yadda yadda.

  • If you think about it, America is a country of laws, it's not about freedom or liberties or any of that, or else we wouldn't have the most prisons and the largest per capita inmate population in the world. I think people need to wake up and see past their braindead eyes.

  • I agree but your statement relates to criminal law and that is the way it is already unless prevailing federal law supercedes state sovereignty. But I could see how it might be helpful to the people to strip the feds of all of their horrendous powers that tend to oppress us, rather than elevate our liberties and our economic status or opportunities.

  • Shit, I'm way out of time! Eric Wright, Easy E, died of Aids on March 26, 1995 at the young age of 31.

Salute, keep a cold beer waiting!

  • "Good attempt at creating the great divide between the nation states and the nation as a whole."

If the people of MS want the death penalty but the people of WI choose not to have it, that's not a divide, that is simply states excercising their sovreignty.

  • Chuck D? Public Enemy Chuck D or you tube Chuck D?

What about Easy E? Can I get a shout out for Easy E for minister of funk?

Just kidding, I have wack sense of humor.
