IF YOU NEED A NEW BETTER VIDEO JUST MAIL ME IL MAKE ANOTHER
updating the samsung f700's firmware with multiloader
Here are the steps

Step 1. Download the firmware from : http://94fbfb89.linkbucks.com

Step 2. Download the update software from this link : http://4bb1b187.linkbucks.com

Step 3. Extract the files from update software you downloaded

Step 4. Open multiloader V5.33 and on multiloader at the top were it says control tick the third one down

Step 5. Tick boot change in multiloader (Now you should be able to click on boot)

Step 6. Click on boot and go to the firmware you downloaded. Click and open the firmware you downloaded.

Step 7. The only one you should be able to click on is the boot one in the firmware. Now that section of the firmware should be beside the word boot in multiloader

Step 8. Now untick boot change and click on Amss and there should be one file in the firmware you downloaded that you can click on, when you clicked on it, it should be beside the word Amss

Step 9. You wont be able to click on apps so dont get worried. So click on Rsrc1 there will be two different files you can click so click on the one that says low in it Now it should be beside the word Rsrc1 (DO NOT CLICK ON MID FOR RSRC1 OR YOU WILL DESTROY YOUR PHONE)

Step 10. Click on Rsrc2 there will 2 files in the firmware you downloaded click on low, it will be beside the word Rsrc2

Step 11. Click on Factory FS there will be only one file in the firmware you downloaded click on it, it will be beside the word Factory FS.

Step 12. There will be nothing for fota so leave it blank

Step 13. Click on ETC there will be all the files, click on the one that said mid in it the second one i said about in Step 9

Step 14. Tick full downloaded

Step 15. Turn your samsung f700(v) off While off slide open the keyboard and hold the shift key while holding the power key it should be a black screen with a red line across and should say download on it

Step 16. Connect your phone to your pc via a usb cable

Step 17. In multiloader click on port search it should find your phone

Step 18. Click download in multiloader

Step 19. WAIT Till its all complete you will now when its done

DO NOT DISCONNECT YOUR PHONE WHILE IT UPDATING OR IT WILL BE DESTROYED FOR GOOD

Step 20. Your phone should boot halfway and start over and then thats it complete your phone is now updated

IF YOUR PHONE KEEPS RE-BOOTING, THEN REPEAT THIS IF THAT DOESNT WORK BRING IT TO A SHOP AND GET IT FIXED
THIS WILL NOT HAPPEN IF YOU DO EVERY THING I SAID Hope this help you

  • I heard firmware version F700AMGJ8 has google maps and allows anyone to install java applications, is this true?

  • its easier to get around installing java but still trys to stop you

    it does have google maps

    but not as good as the rest

    You must install usb driver in the compatibility mode with VISTA SP2.

    storage -> update java db (when you have jar/jad on your phone already)

    Give it a try.

  • the phone is java locked

    it takes several codes to unlock

    il try findijng the codes for you again!

  • after the update has anyone worked out how to get java working? only way I can get java is with the vodafone firmware but that sucks in every other way so guess I want the best of both worlds.
