Monologue:
"Today, we're going to talk about the political winds of change! God, I love this topic! Sometimes, the political winds of change blow in from the LEFT. There seems to be a lot of HOT AIR coming in from the left these days, perhaps we should not be surprised! At other times, the political winds of change blow in from the RIGHT. And on very rare ocassions, the political winds of change blow in from the CENTER. For the duration of this segment, we'll keep the political winds of change coming in...or blowing in from the RIGHT! I sort of prefer it that way, if you know what I mean!
It seems alot of politicians base their political decisions on which DIRECTION the political winds of change are blowing in from! They hold their finger in the air and try to measure the political winds of change, which will best soothe their political career! It seems to me that a lot of politicians have contracted The John Kerry Flip Flop Syndrome! Oo, that was nasty! Anyway, a political leader should not base his or her decisions on which direction the political winds of change are blowing in from! President Obama, to use as an example, last week was all in favor of the ground zero mosque. Now, because public opinion, or the political winds of change seem to be against building that mosque at ground zero...the MAJORITY of the country is AGAINST it, President Obama's back tracking just a little bit! That's...I would call that a flip flop, wouldn't you?! He's also flip flopped on TAXES! Remember during the 2008 presidential campaign all we heard over & over & over again was, "Let me be clear! I'm going to 'cut' taxes for 95% of the population!" Well Mr. President, if that's true, than you should not allow the Bush tax cuts to expire!
Political or world leaders are not made by decisions they make based on the political winds of change! True leaders are made by decisions that they make based on their political beliefs...their ideology. Reagan was a great leader! He stuck to his beliefs & principles. Although I disagree with him on the 1986 illegal alien amnesty! He shouldn't have done it! I'm against it! But, for the most part, he stayed true to his principles! And he's one of the greatest leaders of all time...one of our great presidents. Quite frankly, I wish more politicians would stick to their true beliefs instead of holding their finger in the air & trying to find where the political winds of change are coming from. Alright, enough of that.
Now I'm going to demostrate to you what happens when the political winds of change blow in from the far left! Perhaps I shouldn't do this. But I've got to demostrate to you what happens when the winds blow in from the FAR LEFT! Bear with me a few seconds overhere! I'm going to set this little thing up...Remember, we're going to the FAR LEFT now! This could be DANGEROUS! You see, it's not easy for me going to the FAR LEFT! I'm about to demostrate to you what happens when the political winds of change blow in from the FAR LEFT! This is what happens! WHEN THE POLITICAL WINDS OF CHANGE BLOW IN FROM THE FAR LEFT, THE WHOLE COUNTRY FALLS APART!!!! It's been proven time & time again! I'm just sayin'"
