  • I had a same color one but this is noisy as a diesel loco.

  • Nice car. idle should be in the 700-850 range.

    loud exaust

As for exhaust i run headers (not manifolds) from there i run 3" into 40 series flow maters or magnaflows. then 2.5" out of muffler to dumps in front of rear tire.

Magna flow will keep al the noise coming out the pipe where flow masters resonante and echo.

Doing any exhaust change might cause a lean mix if you do not re jet the carb to compensate.

  • Hah looks like you got the original AM radio. I got an 82 ram 150, 225 slant 6. Had the AM radio in it. I put in a new stereo and speakers, not really proffessional but once i have more money im gonna permanatley install it all. Im debating on what 40 series flowmaster to put on it or a cherrybomb. i wanna redo the exhaust from the manifold down the drivers side instead of the passenger and come out behind the cab. would you reccomend a muffler or glasspack? I want it loud!

  • @smocuad best bet is to go buy the Mopar book "Small block A Engine"

  • can you please tell where you buy all kind of part for that car

  • Idle speed sounds a little high.

  • @NaturalBlondeBitch It actually sold before I had the chance to buy it :( It was a real good deal. That's cool yours has t-tops, that's pretty rare. Sounds like a loaded model.

  • @dodge09challenger Nice! Good deal on the low miles. Are you going to get it? I have a 1977 Dodge Aspen coupe with t- tops. It has the original 318 V8 with 160,000 miles. It needs work & I plan on starting in the next month. I have had my car since I was 15 & had a blast driving (& racing) it. It may take a while to get it all finished the way I want, but I think it will be a great project!

  • @NaturalBlondeBitch No, but I'm looking at a '77 Aspen coupe right now w/ 47k miles for only $600. It has a slant 6. Do you have one?

  • @dodge09challenger have you ever had an Aspen?
