Outside the International Space Station, Expedition 20 Commander Gennady Padalka and Flight Engineer Mike Barratt conducted a 4 hour, 54 minute spacewalk in new Russian spacesuits to outfit the stations Zvezda Service Module with navigational
antennas and a docking target for the automated arrival of a new Russian module later this year that will serve as both a
docking port and an airlock. Next Wednesday, Padalka and Barratt will conduct a second spacewalk inside a transfer
passageway in the Russian segment of the station that will be depressurized to enable them to reposition a docking mechanism.
