Such a shame what happened to American music. Britain ruined it for us. Once the Beatles came along, the British Invasion began - almost every new popular artist was British, and it destroyed America's impact on music forever.

she messed up she would have made it well into 1970 if she had stayed with motown,she would have been on the charts like crazy because motown hadnt even created that sound yet and her voice would have been perfect for that motown bass sound,but she left too soon.
