I welcome the title of this piece, as this is one I quite like. It appears as the second piece on a Pianola Demonstrator Roll I have. It was the first piece that I recorded, and if you see it, compare the before with the after - the impact of my efforts to recloth the bellows and replace the tubing is obvious.

  • Thanks for such a quick answer! And also for the comments about the restoration work I've begun. I am cautious about the radiator. It doesn't go on full heat, and it's days are numbered. It's a hideously large radiator, and my intention is to remove it and replace it with a couple of smaller ones elsewhere in the room! Thanks for your concern though! Oddly, my other piano is in a colder room in the house and that has a problem staying in tune! Seems I cannot win!

  • The piece is Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody No 2.

Nice piano and well done on the restoration (I also have an upright Steck). Just a word of caution about placing it too close to a radiator though - it can cause considerable damage.
