Seattle Sounders FC ousted the Portland Timbers from the 2010 Lamar Hunt US Open Cup 4-3 on penalties after the two Northwest rivals had played to a 1-1 draw through regulation and 30 minutes of extra time. Kasey Keller made two saves in the penalty shootout to secure the win for Seattle, who moved on to the quarterfinals in hopes of defending their USOC title of 2009.

  • Life is gonna suck without Keller next season :(

  • @fol2005 this rivalry deserves national attention. ESPN won't know what hit them this weekend.

  • It's amazing how different that stadium looks now after the renovation. Night & day. Congrats Portland.

SSFC: A better club with better fans. The ECS thundered into PGE park and never let up. We won the match. We won the beauty contest. We left Portscum with victory in our hearts!
