I can read katakana and some hiragana. No kanji except for the basic one like Japan or Tokyo. Thats it
and speaking is ehhh. Just the basic structure of Wawashi wa ... desu.
Im not Japnese though and I learned how to do all this all by myself :)
hopefully I can get into a class and learn it fluently.
I am asian, just not jap.

Man, honestly I don't even know. It's been awhile seen I played it. But one day I just got some addition option screen in VS and next thing I know, I just started having random effects in battles. Like that freezing one.

so im guessing ur one of those people playing the Japense version of the game but have absolute no undersatnd of the language? haha thats okay. I'm just curious about both things.
But i've noticedd it in a few vids where one character will just freeze if the chaos symbol appears, and sometiems a Cosmos symbol appears too and there's a differnt effect. Probably that ex mode one u were talking about.

Oh now the comment shows, stupid youtube. But yeah, I know alittle Japanese, though can't speak it fluent. I need to brush up on it really. Though yeah, I just experimented then got used to the battle menu's and such.
Hmm, I'm honestly not sure what it is; other then it can be useful and not useful. Guess when it's localized we will be able to see what it is.
