  • That is so odd for right answer being one point.

  • @BlackwoodCompany In 1987 - 1989 the value for each question was 1 point was raised to 2 points in 1990 see my later videos

  • The obstacles are: low step, vault, ramp, wall vault, pit jump, cargo net/rope swing, second vault, wire crawl, balance beam, island hopping, monkey bars, tunnel, rope swing, ramps/wire bridge/firepole, wallclimb, flying fox, net crawl, vault. Also, they handicap by age as well as sex. But they don't link questions like they do in the UK version.

  • The assualt course was at Burnham Military Camp just south of Christchurch used. Some parts were added in for Krypton Factor. Didn't originally have the firepole where you land in the water in the 1987 series. Winner of that series competed in the UK and commented how in NZ you only get wet if you make a mistake. Handicapping was done by the largest amount in 1989 this year the only year there was female win the final. No females won at all before 1989. Questions were linked after 1990.

  • This is like the UK Version because in The Krypton Factor UK the women go first, then the men go second

  • I'm prety sure the women's headstart was a little unfairly long, but could be incorrect.

  • If the +/- 2 points system was in place the margin between first and second would have been the same, however there would have been a tie for second.

  • Also, they put steps at the wall vault for the women.

  • I have to do that course on Tuesday!!!!!1 YEEEEEEEEEE I REALLY CAN'T WAIT! I'm going with the school.

  • I checked out other videos of Burnham on YT and as it turns out, there was a double vault, a rope swing, and a series of balance beams between the barbed wire crawl and the swinging bridge.

  • I'm sure that there was at least one obstacle between the barbed wire crawl and the balance log.

  • The handicap system seems to be 40 seconds for female, and one second for each year, which is why the 29-year old starts about three seconds after the 26-year-old.
