Using imaginary line actually helps, going to start doing that from now on

1. Qc1 - Kf2 2. Qd2#. will this work?

I found an alternative checkmate in the position, in 3 moves:
1. Bxe5 (forcing black to the only avaliable square in the position), Kf2 2. Qd2+ (again forcing the only move in the position), Kg1 3. Qg2++ (1-0)
It was actually the first sequence I noticed, but I cannot argue with the fact that a faster checkmate is usually the better one! :D

2 moves or 49 moves to checkmate, it's scored the same, 1-0.

Black is getting killed!
