@LuftTim Dan Johnston's shakes are caused by Lithium. Seriously, the its his meds. There's modern videos of him with no shakes when he was on different meds.
It kind of sucks that he cant play because of those shakes but, i'm glad he's ok.

@EconomyShark I'm sure I'm going start a huge youtube fight, but this can be caused by alcoholism. And it looks like a pretty serious case. I am only saying this because I used to be an alcoholic. I don't drink AT ALL anymore, and i really wish no one did. I understand people will make there own choices.. not enough people see that it's just put here to destroy us =\

@CaliforniaCarpenter7 I'm not exactly a Daniel Johnston expert, but I don't think he's an alcoholic. He is however manic depressive and schizophrenic.

This is really sad to see. This is the first time I've heard about Daniel Johnston but the song was brilliant, instant favorite.
That said he looks like he's in the last stage of alcoholism- Cirrhosis. I haven't seen shakes like that since my Best Friends dad, he died right in front of me, drank himself to death because the love of his life drank herself to death before him.
