Americas homeless crisis is everywhere. This week Im visiting family in Binghamton, a small town in upstate New York with approximately 45,000 people. This is where I met Eddie.
Eddie used to work as a cook before becoming disabled. Like many homeless he relies on recycling for an income. Eddie said he has not slept in two days because its so cold outside (last night, the mercury dropped to 16 degrees).
Eddie does not know what his future will be. His only hope is to survive another day.
Good luck Eddie. Stay in there buddy!

Notice how one of his wishes is to open a homeless shelter for others like himself. I truly hope you're doing better Eddie, and may your wishes come true...God Bless!

@Neceh01 Lol...you confront me simply with no offensive words and then call me an asshole (not that I care, that's your opinion. It's a fact that you're dumb enough to post on youtube in front of God and everyone that tobacco is not a drug). But I apoligize for calling a spade a spade.

@endocry I confront you simply, no offensive words. I'd atleast expect some mutual respect, then you could tell me in a decent way that tobacco is a drug. I was told otherwise. I was wrong. But I can then ask you this, what's with all the assholes on youtube..

This man needs to watch some of the survival shows so many things they teach would help him. He would be better off going to the police and telling them to lock him up over night to be investigated rather than sleepong in weather that cold. Go south why stay in the freezing cold do like the ducks.

@DeutscheGesinnung Just as long as you know that I know - you can't take it with you. That makes me happy :)

@DeutscheGesinnung Hope your job falls through, then you'll know how it feels. Guess we'll all walk by you too - grow up, show at least a bit of sympathy. Prick.

There is so much to do in New York. Stop being hard nosed New York. Give a little, be kind and give sombody a break. You are well in New York so pay it forward. Remember how it was on 911. Remember how it felt so good just to be simply kind and helpful. Your job of rebuilding is never over, not while people are living on your streets and eating out of dumpsters. No city is trully beautiful until a city is kind and fair and humane.
