  • stunning guitar work. Some of the best I've heard on youtube - including Mr Jansch and Mr Renbourn!

  • Thank you for your nice comment, I'm happy that you like this version, this adaptation is very inspired of the Jansk version.

Greetings and sorry for my bad english accent.

  • Lovely arrangement on the guitar of this

beautiful song, Patrice! - And of course, really well sung! You caught the atmosphere of this old folk melody perfectly! Thank you for sharing it!

  • Thank you very much for your kind comment Maria.

    Kind regards

    Patrice

  • Nicely played and sung!... Beautiful job on this great song!... ****** This version is different from that of the Pentangle and more similar to that of the Ceol: it's more on the kind celtic-breton... very beautiful!

    Cheers,

    luca

  • Hello philips,

    thanks you for your comment.

My arrangement is rather similar than Bert Jansk arrangement.

  • The lyrics to your cover are different to the version that i know and love, which is by The Pentangle. However, this is a great version too and done in an entertaining and melodic way.Bravo.

  • Je ne connais pas Jean Banwarth,

Cette chanson est effectivement très inspirée de "sylvie" de Bert Jansk, dontj'ai le 33trs.
