Cambry plays Scriabin Etude Op. 42, No. 5 (STUDIO VERSION)

This is a sound check and warm up at StudioChicago playing my favorite Scriabin Etude! Me and DoctorBoxer were recording more PianoBoxing tracks before our performance in Denmark on July 10th. I will have video from that performance and I will also do another version of this Scriabin soon as well.

Hey PianoPlaya! Just wanted to let you know that I use your videos in my classroom to introduce young students to classical music. Most of my students are young African Americans in elementary and most have only been introduced to Hip-hop (radio hip-hop) and they really appreciated seeing a young African American male play classical music. We love playing you after lunch. I've been able to introduce them to other Chicago artists like Common and John Legend as well as Jill Scott. Great stuff!

This is one of my favorite pieces, and I can definitely say that you have put a lot into it and managed to keep the mood of the music alive, even in slower tempo :) Great work and thank you!

I agree that his playing is very good, but give the boy some some credit- we can't bring God into every acheivment- God didn't practice piano for thousands of hours to make this peice the way we hear Mr. Cambry play it.
