che melodie..che gruppo..la band che insieme ai queen ha sfiorato la perfezione assoluta..lo stratificarsi dei morbidi arpeggi chitarristici di Marr, che scivolano a cascata sulle parole intonate da Morrissey, fasciandole in una trama calda e crepuscolare di suoni aerei e trasecolati. morrisey, dal canto suo, plana con leggerezza sulle superfici levigate dalla propria voce, in bilico tra la tensione emotiva di unaria operistica e il salmodiare assorto di un maestro di culto.
