I just bought a full-sized First Act 222 acoustic. The stores are rife with the smaller "parlour" sized 3/4 222 guitars, but the full-size dreadnaught is hard to find.
Besides the cheap strings it came with, I find it is a pretty well-made guitar...and it definitely passed the "knocking on the soundbox" test. Nice, deep bass echo!
I think this guitar will actually sound pretty damn good once I replace the strings and file the nut and bridge down slightly for a better action.

Sounds nice .Whee did you get it and how much? Looking for a decent acoustic to learn on is this one any good.I prefer lower action.Did it come playable out of the box. Did you have to do anything to it.Thanks

It's not even my guitar. I play an Ibanez AE, but I'd like to own a Taylor 814ce! The 1st Act guitar was in the studio so I was jammin out on it..

the guitar is certainly a beginner guitar. It was cheap and just something I picked up at a friends house & started jamming on, nothing special. I prefer Ibanez or Taylor acoustics. FirstAct guitars sounds decent though.
