Wow, she sounds rather crappy. I guess she really got into the whole 1920s boze and smoking vocal damage.

I prefer Caroline O'Connor by far. SHe is my favorite Broadway Velma.

OMG, correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the guy on Roxane's left hand side at the begining of this number also danced in the 1996 revival of Chicago as well, and he was also among the dancers for Bebe and Chita at the Kennedy Honours of Kander & Ebb in 1999. To think he went such a long way with Chicago is just wow. His name is David-Warren Gibson I think.

I'm sorry, she definitely is not my favorite Velma. I truly prefer Catherine Zeta-Jones and Caroline O'Connor.

This is Velma's introductory song where you get a very good look at who she is, and I can't tell. This just seems like a karaoke to me.
