proud mom... beautiful darling. but how is the world can people say the movie was better... when the stage musical has been around for 20 + years... and the movie is not in theatres at all... the movie DID do justice to the show however...
Just can't compare a stage show and a film..except whether or not the film gave due respect to the stage show. Love Mom.

i kinda dont like her voice..its sounds like she's singing out of her nose.....i think it should be deep, sexy, and seductive. but of course everyone's opinion is different.

Out of all the Broadway Velma's, I enjoyed this one the most since Bebe neuwirth. Some damn good pipes. Catherine's still #1 for me in the movie tho...

@marcinejaay I would DEFINITELY have to disagree with you. Cathrine Zeta Jones is a wonderful singer, but she got to sing it in a studio. And trust me, it's more impressive to sing live and dance at the same time. AND this is the original Bob Fosse choreography. Probably one of the greatest choreographers of all time. Know your theatre if you're going to critique so harshly.
