@Drpetya1965 abalone dont even have the proper nervous systems to feel pain like we do. but like the other guy said, the moving is just the heat evaporating the moisture out and making the meat contract. think of it as popcorn popping or a piece of steak shrinking.
@Drpetya1965 those are already dead. before abalone are eaten they have to be scrubbed and pared. the moving is the meat contracting slowly as its cooked. :)
