  • I wonder how sophisticated the 3d object creation is...what I mean is can Pro be used to create smaller, more complex objects like a motorcycle? Or is it limited to architectural type of objects

  • @7Somerset You can create whatever you like. This is is just an example.

  • @ToonBoomAnimation

So is this for Animate Pro 2? Or Harmony?

  • @RonnieandMarge This is Animate Pro 2.

  • Is this only possible with Animate Pro or also with Animate? I can’t find a comparison sheet on the ToomBoom website.

  • @Halbmond This is only possible in Animate Pro. The comparison page in the Features page of Animate, on the right side.

  • @superman41591 That sounds like you're running out of memory. Are you making a very large scene, with many frames, and many drawing layers? Is it frame-by-frame animation or cutout? I'd recommend constricting your scene length to shorter scenes, then compiling them together afterwards with an editing program.

  • btw when i use it sometimes it show me microsoft error about this progrom and it close it D: .. whats the problem :o?

  • @lillybirdsong where i can download toon boom harmony cause i dont find it anyway , and thank you for replaying

  • If you want to import from 3DS Max, you can always export an image sequence to import in. Otherwise, in Harmony we have a pipeline that works with Maya where you could import 3D objects directly into there. We are looking at developing support for other softwares, but for now we work mainly with Maya.

  • hey toon boom can i import 3d objects from 3d max studio to toon boom animate or it will be just flatten?

  • Currently I’m using Toon Boom Studio which I love! There are only 3 things I’d really like to have: motion blur, lens blur and the 3D camera (instead of classic multiplane). I don’t think I could afford Animate Pro anyway, maybe I’ll look into upgrading to Animate someday.

The 3D scenes from the Simpsons movie are made using the 3D tools shown in the video, right? I believe they used Harmony.
