  • Bass player Lee Dorman is alive. Philip Kramer who came in later was found dead in or near his car.

  • Great!!, thanks for clearing that up.

  • I love how they come back into the main riff faster and heavyer! I still cant get over the skill level of Lee Dorman. Best bass player of his time. Best band of there time skill wise. I think they were ahead of there time. they were so difrent and out there that they dont get the credit they deserve. There so talented and all they get credit for is In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida. They have better songs than that in my opinion. Still a kickass song and is a true classic though!

  • They definatly had an original sound. I saw them live a couple of times and they were pretty good. I read Lee Dorman drowned of the coast of California some years ago, a real shame.

  • What really?! I never heard that! I saw on there website that Lee Dormans still in the band and that their performing.

  • Well, hopefully I have it wrong and the report of his demise is premature, as Mark Twain said. If so, I appologize to Lee and should check before I type so fast, sorry.

  • Back then garbage trucks had well dressed helpers riding the back.. Women stopped guys from dumpster diving? Blackbeard disappears walking in the ocean as if some hidden message in this? Makes up for all ideas (drunk on bennies talk) in the movie from people that never put any effort made easy ..The keyboard pipe organism at ending is so severely fryed i cant see straight, Fin.

  • Very much church influenced organ intro. Lee Dorman has been touring with drummer Ron Bushy and 2 others for years now, but rumor has it, he's not al all well.

  • Well, I think Doug Ingle's fahther was a church Organist...I've read from somewhere that he learned from that in his early years. Cool style, anyway.

  • As much as I love the Butterfly, they sounded a helluva a lot like the Music Machine, so I don't consider them all that original
