  • Such an underated remake.

  • @0prosthetics0 Agreed. I like this one just as much as the 1968 original - if not more, in fact.

  • night of the living dead and dawn of the dead are great remakes. Now if they could just remake day of the dead to be as good as these oh wait they did remake it and its shit.

  • @gjk2012 The 2008 Day of the Dead was barely a remake. It was terrible and the only similarity it had to the original film was that it involved the military.

  • the zombies just look like regular actors today.

  • @stupidxxvideos Apparently the film-makers visited morgues and studied concentration camp photos; they based the looks of some of the zombies on what they saw.

  • @MATTCFC4EVA You're entitled to your opinion, but the special makeup effects in this version are far superior to the original. That's not to say that the movie itself is better than the original, though in my opinion it's just as good. And can I ask what "bloob" is?

  • @Coldheart9009 I could never like it more but I like it about as much. Something in me can never choose a remake over an original no matter what. :)

  • Great remake.

  • I personally liked the 1990 remake a lot more than the 1968 version, it was more scary :x

  • @Coldheart9009 That's cause Tom Savini was both Director and Make-Up Artist

  • George A. Romero remade this movie in 1990 so he can Own the rights to Night of the Living Dead.. If you have the DVD of this version it comes with a Scene Select added into it booklet. That talks about how they went to Morgues to learn about how Corpses look after Death.

  • George Romero's 1968 version was and is good but for its time, which was 1968. This remake re-polishes it for a new generation. Because lets be real the 1968 zombies weren't that scary or threatening compared to this version. This is what a true remake is, as oppose to the CGI completely rewritten abortions of today's movie remakes.

  • @Johnlindsey289

I haven't seen the new The Thing movie which from what I hear is a prequel and not a sequel or remake. Hopefully they didn't go overboard with the CGI. That's what made the original good because it looked more realistic without any CGI. I haven't seen The Fly remake either.

  • @MrSinister84

What about John Carpenter's The Thing or The Fly?

  • @0prosthetics0 And how often is that said of horror remakes? lol

  • Awesome!!! Zombie Movies are my FAVE!! Hard to find a good Zombie Flick... This one was great :) Now we need more movies made..
