Well since the rings feed off of will and don't really need to recharge (only need recharged cause the user believes it does, the lantern core conditioned the users to have weaknesses so they won't get too powerful) I guess it'd make sense that Static could "charge" the ring as long as GL believed it'd work.

@KudokuMaoh In this continiouty Sinestro's ring isn't a yellow lantern ring, its a unique ring of its own that can change its energy and steal GL powers, which was why he didn't like John - Because John was OP even as GL

Kind of makes the emerald element seem less special if you can charge a Green Lantern ring by plugging it into a wall socket.

@KudokuMaoh the yellow ring is made of the same material the regular ring is, just use different poer sources, so when senestro used the lantern its almost like its mistaking the ring for another
