Sa Re Ga Ma is proud to release the single AAJA SAJANA featuring internationally known singer/songwriter G-Deep and India based Music producer Phoenyx. Aaja Sajana is featured on Phoenyx-Phase 1 album which was recently launched and is available for download on iTunes.
This is the first time that a fusion of folk-sufi vocals mixed with electronic dubstep sound is introduced in India. The album concentrates greatly on electronic and dubstep sound, the union of Punjabi and hindi vocals amalgamate flawlessly with the heavy electronic sound. This brand new sound has already gotten a great response from music lovers worldwide. Aaja Sajana has been playing on South Asian radio station for a few weeks now. After the major success of his second album -- O'Billo, G-Deep is getting ready to launch his third album Hiq Vich Jor with Amar Audio. He collaborated with Phoenyx on this project simultaneously. Aaja Sajana is dedicated to Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, who is one of G-Deep inspirations in music. The Phase 1 album features 3 songs by G-Deep and a few other equally brilliant tracks by various other artists.

Bandish Projekt, Midival Punditz, Karsh Kale among many others started classical (+folk) music fused with dub step (electronics, house, symphony etc) many years ago. This is not the firs of it's kind, please don't spread false advertisement :-)

Good attempt, music wise it's great but vocals are auto tuned to much. Plz search for Bandish Projekt for better examples of the vocal combination with this kind of music.
