disaROTIN 2011.10.14 response

Dear disaROTIN,

I thank you for your {2011.10.05} comment on the video|upload titled "ALEVÎ DÊYÎŞ|DÂYÎŞ Documentary" for which you wrote the following (3) three lines {as-is}:

1 The most sensible and very well explained work ever, except the theory og "kurdish language being Iranic/an branch"
 2
3 I wonder how the name of Iran did exist in and through the history!!!! It's not difficult to understand how they spell backward Arian as todays Iran.. If there's a branch then it's Indo-european kurdish "branch not iranian branch" .

The following (63) sixty-three lines are my {2011.10.12} original response to your comment:

 1 Dear disaROTIN,
 2
3 I thank you for both your interest in my videos and for your comment and would

5 like to invite you to view and comment on several others that I believe you'll be

21 Now, regarding your comment on the word{s} "Iran" and "Iranian {Branch of}
22
23 Languages" and the classification of the Kurdish language ...
24
25 You are making an honest mistake by confusing the application of the word
26
27 "Iran" as in: "the modern state of Iran" versus "{The} Iranian {Branch|Family of}
28
29 Languages". It'll be easier to think of the word "Iran" being a derivative|variant
30
31 of the word "Ariyan|Aryan", a word which is indeed very very old.
32
33 Regarding the Kurdish language ...
34
35 it is classified as follows: ‣ Indo-European ‣ Indo-Iranian
36
37 ‣ {Western Iranian ‣ Northwestern Iranian} ‣ Kurdish.
38
39 Thank you again for your interest and comments.

42
43 P.S.
44
45 If you are interested in the how + why the name "Persia" was changed to "Iran"
46
47 then read on ...
48
49 The word "Persia" —having a specific scope|meaning— refers to the "Pars|Pers|
50
51 Fars|Faris" which are merely (1) one of many Aryan {Ariyan[i]} groups. The
52
53 world "Iran" —as mentioned earlier— has a much broader meaning and is all-
54
55 inclusive to all Aryan groups, including the Kurds, Balouch{i}, Pashtun, etc. and
56
57 of course the Pars|Pers|Fars|Faris.
58
59 ... It is the late Shah Reza Pahlavi who {cleverly} brought about this change
60
61 {among others, including the revival of "Nawruz" {Newroz} and giving Ferdowsi
62
63 the long-lost attention and respect that he deserves.

I shall also respond to the (2) two comments that you later posted, starting with the (1st) first {2011.10.09}:
1 I did never said that Arian/Aryan is not historical name. (Hitler was also Arian man, lol,,) I say that there's no name in the history that called "Iran" so that's why kurdish can not be classified as iranian branch. Look what the history tells us: Sumerian, Medes/Medians-empire, MedOPersian[1], Persian and now Iran... So if we accept the Medes as the Kurds ancestors then persian is a branch of kurdish language...

[1] MedOPersian? ... is that something like "Cup-O-Noodles", "Land-O-Lakes", "Rice-O-Roni"? ... I see you' borrowing from very academic-sounding terminology.

Although you agree that the word "Ar{î}yan{î}" is historical, you seem determined not to see that it is the very source of the word "Iran", an obvious derivative. If it that is what makes you feel comfortable, be my guest and keep your head firmly planted in the sand, safe from the terror of knowledge, logic and reason.

All that sand will have apparently prevented your whit —which is already about as sharp as an under-inflated rubber exercise ball— from developing a point: "Hitler", pardon the expression on approach, is not "germane" to this discussion. That would have been very clear if you only knew that the word "Ar{î}yan{î}" has different connotations in India, greater Iran and Europe, and that we're only concerned with one.

Simply finding the truth inconvenient does not make your imaginary concocted version factual. Every time you open your mouth to speak —to flaunt your supposed intelligence and grossly amassed knowledge— you inevitably sink yourself farther into the quicksands of embarrassment —a situation to which you are still blatantly unaware of[2]...
