Hi, what did you do to record this at the 720 res? I'm trying to record it, but can't record at 1280 x 720 because it just stutters. I'm using Camstudio, i7 920 @ 3.2GHz per core, 12Gb RAM, ATI HD5850 1Gb but can't get it to record at the res' I'm currently using to record, (1280 x 720). I'm using the SimBin res' options, but would I still get HD quality from HALF the current size or not? I'm also using the Camstudio Lossless Coden 1.4. Any advice please. Thanks!

I use Fraps for recording in native resolution (1920x1200), and Virtualdub to change resolution and compression.

My hardware is C2D @ 4Ghz , 4Gb RAM and Geforce 285 GTX, i think fraps is better for 3D capture :)

@zelmorf Ahh,.. well see,.. that's half my problem, I have a high-end rig, but have failed miserably to use Virtual Dub; it's sooooooooo f-in' complicated I'll never understand it, it's like rocket science to me. I spent 4 days SOLID trying to work it out, and couldn't. I also cant use Fraps because it's not free, and the free version only records up to 30secs per record-press; so it's hardly ideal for me. I ALSO can't manually change the res'of the windowed game - no option for custom res'. :(

i've buy Fraps, because there is not really good alternative for 3D video capture.

G25 from my experience is really awsome, but not worth the money though... too damn expensive, if you got money to throw for such expensive toys then do it... its a rich man toy for gaming lol
