@91hockeyfit umm i think any REAL excersise can end up leading to some kinda injury at some point. so if your a little girl then you should stick to eliptical. good talk ;)
-
i've always wondered is kipping any better than deadhangs? ya you can obv do more reps but does it work out any more muscles than deadhang pullups? it seems stupid if it's just a rep thing
-
@91hockeyfit...Benching with "good form" will only increase your upper body strength, make you kickass at sports like football and hockey, but aside from that how is the Bench not included in Crossfit. It's one of the big 3: Deadlift, Squat, and Bench Press.
-
since when is bench press a part of crosfit? It will end up leading to shoulder injuries if you're in any kind of sport.

Lol at this absolute trash. God what I would give to see that barbell drop on your head and crush your fucking skull. Queer.
-
@sjktss you obviously have no concept of what it takes to build muscle. kipping pull ups are quite a bit harder than standstill, and they work more muscles. get a life bro, don't judge someone else till you've tried their poison.
-
Great job on the workout, I did this one the other day, and didn't even come close to your number of reps.

very impressive loose the hat though you look like the guy from white men cant jump and he looked like a d bag
Both good. Kipping is what this WOD calls for it can also be done using strict pull ups. We use both in our gym. I feel it is best to practice, train and get better at both.
To answer your question about which works more muscles - Kipping and strict pull ups work the same muscles (for the most part) . Kipping requires more flexibility. If you are looking to exhaust your muscles completely try this: strict pull ups to failure immediately followed by kipping pull ups to failure.
