wonder why SRV always surfaces in these forums? winter was a star before SRV touched a guitar and has never needed to copy a lick from anyone... until illness JW was still as creative and exciting to listen too as when he surfaced on the guitar player scene...JW's feel for music far exceeds SRV...sorry guys/gals..SRV was great but ....JW is texas blues guitar...

Dearest X, as always thanks, the song was on fire!!!! I was checking out some old cd's of johnny's and I found one of my favorite cd's called "let me in" it even had dr. john the night tripper on piano. Life is hard, and Medicine man, not to mention let me in, and If you gotta good woman. That cd is a must for your collection.....Love ya much....Huichol53........

I think you've nailed why we're drawn to Johnny's playing so much. Couldn't agree more. The powerful magic wizardry of JW on the guitar. Ain't that just like a genius.
Another killer cut thanks to execoupe. I sure am glad I subscribed to your great, and unbelievable collection. Love, friendship, and Respect, Huichol53.......
