Thanks for watching!

In this video, it will show you how to resize your Windows Bootcamp partition, so you can increase/decrease the size of your partition depending on your needs.

**********IMPORTANT***********

Please bear in mind, if decreasing the size of your partition, you must make sure you allocate enough hard drive space for you previous partition. In other words, if you previous partition had 50gb's of memory on it, you need to make sure that the new allocation has at least 50gb's of storage space in order to fit in the previous bootcamp partition.

PLEASE BACKUP YOUR DATA BEFORE DOING THIS!!

  • @S1LYclan Where/when did you get the error? What stage of the process?

  • Ok. Thank you! :)

  • @TheKominomi No problem!

  • Hello! I've just installed lion but winclone doesn't work with lion! :( Do you know any other program like winclone that works with lion? Really good tutorial! :)

  • @TheKominomi Hi! Thanks very much! Unfortunately, i do not think there are any Lion compatible partition resizing programs at the mo, since OS Lion has only just been released! As far as i am aware, Winclone is discontinued so it will no longer be updated, so i am not sure of its compatibility with lion or if it will ever be updated. However, there are a few other programs out there that you should keep a eye on to see if they are updated/available for OS Lion, they are: iPartition and CampTune.

  • @ridecmb This process is duplicating the windows partition as it is, so there is no need to reinstall it. The first part of the process copied the entire drive, OS included, the last part writes it all back.

  • when i click mount nothing happens

  • so you don't need to actually reinstall the windows os? or is it reinstalled when you mount it to the drive?

  • GREAT TUTORIAL!!! THANK'S ALOT!!!
