What would you do if your quiet, American town was invaded?

Operation Flatline

In 2009, The Russian government collapses and falls under the control of a militant, anti coalition force known as the United Balkan States or "UBS". The Central and South American countries unite and form the United Federation of the Americas (UFA).

The United States is in a deep depression due to a collapsed financial infrastructure. Having expended it's defense budget and spread it's power thin, all over the globe, the US is perceived as a "weak" nation for the first time in history. While the U.S. hadn't yet exploited their own natural resources, they became a viable target for their enemies.

The UBS and UFA allign together and begin planning a joint operation to squeeze the remaining life out of the United States. They plan to do this, first, by gaining control of the MidWest United States and it's rich farmland. This will split the United States right down the middle. UBS crosses the Bering Strait into Alaska and through Canada, who allows this without protest. The UFA force Moves north through Mexico.

In November of 2009 the UFA and UBS invasion of North America is know as: Operation Flatline.
