Culture is the identity that groups of humans give themselves to maintain a collective identity - per country and/or nationality. We can change this id. as many times as we want... We can also identify the many people that so-called perpetuate all social institutions to destroy a given race or ethnic subculture... Bottom line, the problem here is not media, politics, racism, hate.... the problem radiates with a departure from God.... The only solution is God, not a social program.
-
There is nothing surprising to expect of the media.... Satan many times operates through it - to confuse and destroy people.... You must put your sight on Jesus and not believe nothing else..... The solution is not by having all these honesty talks about white suppremacy and the media portraying labels or stereotypes... the solution is Jesus.....

most of these girls mixed and they complaining about being black! damn the dark skinned girls must be really depressed!
-
we're all red on the inside
-
Those are some beautiful women.
-
you're obviously threatened by us black women. i dont blame you
-
You all dont seem to have aproblem when Nellie and Jay Z , and 50 Cent call you nappy head hoes, and female dogs and toilet stools, and the baby aint mine. Most of those women look like lesbians.
-
Oh so all of a sudden Don Imus is a bad guy when the only reason we aren't walking around in chains is because of an ammendment. Ha!! Don Imus is the voice of America- they donb
't want us here! If thwey could put us all on9 a boat and send us back to africa they would beleive me. I hate America and everything she stands for. Black Power
-
obviously just sitting around and talking isn't going to be enough. But what do you propose-- not even talking about it? Dialogue is the first step to any change. It rallies ppl together, it affects the way we think, it helps us understand why things are the way they are, how we want them to be, and what is necessary to achieve this... it brings us to strategy and effective action. So what do you propose as a solution?
-
why doesnt BET show talks and programmes like these? other tv channels are not gonna promote things like this because they dont care for us
-
when you count for how many hours you thought and talked about this issue and account for that invested time=it will be zero a result.
for that you will continue your useless laziness as this is a save way to get angry at the failures of others.i promise you-you will get no where with this talk.
your kids will ask you when they grow older "why black people don't do nothing"-what will you answer? "well, sweetheart we did do something-we came together in the past and talked about it."
-
whoelseneedspants: AMEN, it's sad to see these kids behave in this manner...BM/ we gotta do better, we're not doing what we're supposed to be doing...look at the videos, that's all these youngsters see, and the white owned labels are telling them to put that bullshit out...they claim to be thugs but will jump up and down for a cracker...they're boys, not real men...
-
yes pants - many young people follow these music vids but u know just to say that is stupid because what did we follow when we were youth? our parents? we all had rebellious music that scared our elders and while i think rap of today is completely bonkers its not far from what was said about elvis and his gyrations in the 50's! or boy band groups in the 80's! what we need to do is not blame our youth - we need to educate them! speak to them on their level-remember when u were younger
-
ky mace says it best on here -"why cant people just see people as people"? seriously! look past certain neighborhoods! look past media! dont blame every people for some people! and the hip hop community is fucked up! but many in the black community have tried over and over again to mend it and their have been improvements- what u need to think about is who controls the air waves? media? just cause u dont see a white dude in a rap video dont mean he aint got nothing to do with it! u got to think!
-
i see what u are saying ....at first! dont u dare call u or any white person "innocent" because that is a stupid misconception brought up more by the media showing u guys as pussies and little whore virgins - as opposed to black people as aggressive and lazy and whores in general(dirty ghetto whores)...now when u step outside of the boob tube and possibly ur community u see most of this is not even true and just cause some fit the mold since when do some represent an entirety?
-
Part 3:
Is not the fault of whites that you are how you are... Is the fault of yourselves that you are how you are... Stop blaming innocents - you do that all the time... Stop crying about how others are so racists w/ you and start becoming functional / succesfful people for crying out loud.
-
Part 2:
So, here we have people (black women) saying that Imus was racist... What about rappers... that use bulgar and obscene language?
Moreover, WHere would our children be getting these neg. stereotypes about blacks?
a) Rap / Hip Hop
b) T.V.
c) Don Imus
d) Mom
e) None of the Above
f) Both a & b
The commercialization of hip hop due to white society? Are freakn kiddin' me? How did white society FORCED hip hop down your throats?
-
Part 1:
Well if that's the case, I'm so sad. This is why govt. shouldn't allow these rappers to start playing their music using such lyrics. NOW, iS TIME TO PAY... Look at our current generation... Its all lost.
What would these rappers say to that? They will probably do what they do all the time, just point the finger at parents... Sure it is parent's fault (99 %), but when they turn the T.V. on or turn the Radio on... What do they hear? What is there available?
How terrible!
-
That was a coon statement. Whites know the truth, what truth? Are you serious?
-
Racism sucks. Sexism sucks. Black women have it the worst cuz they've got to deal with both. Some of the strongest ppl in the world must be black women. Why can't people just see people as people.
-
it's a system of racism
-
I think the biggest problem is that the newer generations of young minorities actually believe that the music videos and rap songs are what life is supposed to be like for a black person; it is also admittedly a major failure of the parents of these minorities for neglecting their minds. There was a disconnect somewhere in the home and the evidence is in the test scores and grades. It saddens me to see a child with failing grades, sing a rap song as though they'd studied it for hours.

Tell them Sister Onyxxx!

Of coursel, I have problems with Jay Z, Nellie and many other rap crap artists. Do some basic research before you talk from the side of your butt and assume something that is obviously incorrect. Just google "Pearl Jr" and you'll find article complaining about Nellie as well.

Go to school and learn that in order for slavery and continual oppression to exist, Black MUST be taught to hate themselves.
You are one ignorant, shallow thinking racist fool.
Move on, if you dont' like it! Why are you even interested!
Because your racist evil mind needs a place to vent all you hatred.
Get on!!!!! You are stupid, dumb, and too ignorant to know it!

This comment has received too many negative votes show
so called black women are monkeys and monsters. they are the most hideous looking women on the planet....and the truth is they aren't even real black women...they are a monstrous mixture that should be avoided at all cost by black men

I wrote the book, Black Women Need Love, too! It's all about what we are talking about here and why I do what I do.
No matter what BM MUST do better for the sake of saving the race. BW already do too much of YOUR work--child rearing, career, getting educated, domestic duties, etc. Didn't your mother do all that plus love and nurture you?

I have A, One, singular BM. Thank God ALL are not terrible, but too many are--to the tune of over 60 percent, which is a FAIL! BM must take responsibility for being men, which is to provide and protect and when they do this, the entire Black community will benefit, not just a few. Most BM with anything have come to realize that yes, it's natural for a woman to be attracted to a man who can provide and protect--stop whining about it--it's just nature!!
