A community in Bristol says it's outraged by the council's plans to build on a primary school's playing field.
A campaign has been launched by parents and local residents to help save Elmlea Junior School's field.
The schools playing field may disappear if plans to rebuild the Infant school on the site are given the go ahead.
The neighbouring school has been earmarked for investment because the buildings do not meet Government standards.
The proposal has caused concern amongst the Junior School, as parents believe a rebuild could leave their children with nowhere to play.
Local residents of Elmlea Avenue fear building on the field will damage the enviroment and have set up an action group campaigning against the proposal.
James Davies reports.
I hope that this report helps save this playing field!
