I saw this on Vimeo, but I don't have an account on there. Glad to see this here! How has this only gotten 60 views and 1 like? I enjoyed this video greatly. I was in kind of a funk, then I saw this, and some how it has lifted my spirit. Maybe its because of the similar feeling I get with those "good morning" texts. Perhaps it was the combined beauty of Ms. Kamuela and the music. Either way, this was very well acted, directed, and edited.

I'll definitely be staying tuned for more videos.

Really well made piece of art. Taking this little, yet very important thing we've all experienced and putting it in 4 and a half minutes after which the viewers are happy as if this happened to them. The music is great, the girl feels perfect for this role, the camera angles. It certainly made me smile in the end =) Good job!

Hi Julian, I just wanted to say fantastic job, well done.You're films are beautiful and simplistic. There's no over doing anything which is perfect. A great overall feel and wonderfully acted by Miss Kamuela! I imediately succumbed to the intimacy of the scene, within 5 seconds of seeing her face. I was also able to relate to the weight a simple text message can carry, especially when in that unique state of mind after waking, when your emotional barriers aren't yet errect.

A wonderful short film. I'll be waiting for more from you!

this film has a rather small story combined with rather 'small music' saying that it doesn't sound complex. there 's an elegance in it's simplicity which isn't as much present in the way the camera moves. Less angle-switches and longer shot's would probably stress the fucked-up-part of your film.

Nevertheless the first 31 seconds are beatiful and have quiet a high wow-factor. Only thing I blame you for in the following seconds is the amount of shot-shifting that is a little too high.
