  • @ledbetterbrothers my dads 01 gmc sierra has a 8.1 vortec a 8.1 is really like 494 cu in that makes it a big block

  • @Fc1wrestler LOL We could only wish that was true. 400 cubic inches = 6.5548 liters. I'm not trying to be a dick or anything, just letting ya know. I just get tired of hearing guys tell me that a 6.0 is a big block, or it's a 383. If you put a 4.250" crank in a 6.0 then you could make a cool number like 427. I think it's stupid how GM only uses one current motor to reflect the old engines (LS7).
