Let's not go comparing two TOTALLY different bands. Genesis is prog-rock, whilst Led Zeppelin is Hard Rock. Both are fucking amazing by the way... Only an ignorant idiot would start a stupid comparing like this... -_-'

@MrMadpenguin ... no they were more heavy metal. Led Zeppelin & Heavy Metal are like Apples & Tanker Trucks. where Genesis, may have started something that Zep didn't beat them to. here's my point. 2:24 i hear evidence of Heavy Metal beginnings on Trespass as well. i think they were onto something bigger then Zeppelin ever could imagine. and of course, Genesis never got the credit for.

Bought this record more than 30 years ago. This and the lamb lies down are the best. Nothing is compared to this music. What a rubbish people get today and what a masterpiece we got back than.

I'm well aware that the entire song is magnificent, but quite honestly the beginning until about 2:00 is to me the best part. I would personally rather the rest of the song be written in the same fashion as the introduction had been, but I suppose that the rest of the song has a very great quality if its own...
