December 19, 2008 will be a day the peacock farmer & music teacher Dennis Fett of Minden, Iowa will never forget. He has been invited to be a guest of the Tonight Show starring Jay Leno in a segment called, Does This Impress Ed Asner? Fett resurrected his disappearing clarinet act he did in college and many years later won a spot to be in The Iowa's Got Talent contest, in April of 2007.

The performance bug had bitten Fett once again and he wrote three more arrangements of a popular songs where he disassembles his clarinet as he plays and ends up with the mouthpiece. So when Fett felt his act it was ready for the public he pitched it to the Tonight Show. The Tonight Show Invited him to play a Christmas song for the segment. Does This Impress Ed Asner? He chose Jingle Bells and wrote a 28 second arrangement of the song for the show.
